The kick off in Cassano Delle Murge …

The Erasmus + project promotes dialogue and exchange, necessary in a society open to multiculturalism and educational enrichment. This educational action aims to encourage young people, attracted by new technological devices, to rediscover the pleasure of reading. A good book is an important and an excellent resource to know the world and to access the individual and earth well-being.
We want the project "Tell me a story, please!” be responsible for the message that reading is fundamental for all children and students to develop the critical spirit, creativity and sensitivity. The themes chosen focus on the themes of work, pollution, the economy and social development of each other's territories, and have been chosen to keep the memory of cultural traditions alive. There will be a relationship between literature and the SDG of the UN for 2030 in each meeting because the reading and writing will help us to work together helping life in Earth.
The Erasmus Project “Tell me a Story, please!” had a successful coordinators’ meeting in Cassano Delle Murge, Italy, the 28 – 29th of November 2019.
The meeting was opened by the Mayor of Cassano and the headmaster of Liceo Scientifico Leonardo Da Vinci. We all felt very welcome to Cassano. The project logo was chosen as well as bookmark and the mascotte. The next steps were rethought and programmed according to each country's proposals, as well as the activities to be implemented in the online tools. The interaction was splendid and the communication as well.
The best part of the meeting was that we met each other and got a chance to establish a more personal contact.

We are sure that the project will be a success!

Tell me a story, please!

This project will make use of some of the gadgets the students love for learning. To foster our students' creativity these tools will allow them to communicate with students with similar interests from different backgrounds. We will also get our students in touch with quality reading material to improve their linguistic skills. In this way, our students will also get to know the European cultural legacy, comparing the differences and similarities between the different countries.

The activities will be developed by teachers and students of the six countries involved (Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Romania and Sweden), connected not only with the literature, reading, writing and speaking but also to some of the UN goals (SDG).
