Online mobility to Sweden, Åva gymnasium in Täby

The project partners in TSMP met online during some weeks in October 2021. Before the mobility the participating students had introduced themselves in Twinspace. Then the mobility was launched by the Swedish team, Swedish students presented their school and country.

The project partners were given a challenge to either bake a Swedish cake or to perform a Swedish song and dance.

Then all the participants met online to listen to a lecture held by Arkan Asaad, the author of the book “Starless Nights”, which was the book the Swedish team had chosen for everyone to read.
The lecture was very interesting and inspiring and many students asked a lot of questions. Ath the third activity the students met in groups mixed by nationality to discuss how they thought the ideal European person looked and what personality traits such a person should have.

They used digital tools to draw and they took on what they came up with. One of the main goals in this project is to motivate students to read more, so for the next activity the purpose was to discuss themes from the book “Starless Nights” which the students did in mixed (by nationality) groups.
The final task was to work with the global goal nr 16, the students discussed how we can contribute to make the world more peaceful. Who won the challenge? That was a hard thing to solve so there were three winners: Portugal, Romania and Spain!

ONLINE MEETING – “Tell me a Story, please!”

Online meeting Wednesday the 24th of March 16 -17:30

Status report from all the participants: everyone has had school more or less online since March 2020. The participants have been trying to do some of the activities with the students, but it has been difficult due to that we all have been forced to change the way work.

We have decided to do some of the activities online. We will begin with uploading the work we have done on Marcovaldo and UN goal no 8.

Latest by (early) October 2021 we will upload the work we have done with our students on Starless Nights and UN goal no 16. Sweden will arrange an online event with the author of Starless Nights.

In January 2022 we will do the activities connected with Spain.

We will have one more online meeting before the end of the school year, perhaps May 2021.
